Brack Healy has been involved with high school hockey for the past eight years and is currently in his second season as Fair Lawn’s head coach. Before arriving at Fair Lawn, Healy was the headman at Montclair Kimberley Academy and went 14-7-4 which included a stay on the Star Ledger Top 20 Rankings for four consecutive weeks. He led MKA to their first state playoff win in 15 years when they defeated Gordon Conference's Bishop Eustace 3-2 in the first round of the States. Coach Healy gained recognition for his work at Montclair Kimberley and was named New Jersey Power Ranking's Coach of the Year. He is also a member of NJSIAA's 100 Point Club - recording 144 points during his playing career at Montclair High School. Healy continued his playing career at Rowan University before concentrating on coaching. He currently teaches English at Bloomfield Tech High School where he also coaches baseball and soccer.
Coach Healy is also very familiar with the youth hockey scene. Before joining the Freeze, Healy spent eight years as a coach with the Montclair Blues. During his tenure, Healy compiled an impressive record of 166-54-15 which included three trips to the district playoffs and one state final appearance. During the spring and summer, Healy is the Head Coach and General Manager of the New Jersey Selects. This skill development program emphasizes individual improvement and also offers tournaments domestic and abroad. Healy is also the President and Owner of Hockey Advantage, a premiere tournament team that competes during the summer months at various events. His 16U team has won the Prudential Center’s Tournament of Champions the past two years.
